What Are CENS?

Custom-made Electronic Noise Suppressors are tailor made (using impressions of the ear) to anatomically match the user’s outside ear, providing maximum attenuation with outstanding comfort in use.

The internal digital electronic circuit provides low-level amplification for quiet sounds whilst instantly reducing the high level sounds caused by the gun firing to give the user a safe and comfortable audible experience.

Each pair of CENS digital feature a manual volume control.

CENS digital 2 and CENS digital Flex 2 also features a switch that allows the user to select one of two pre-programmed memories for additional flexibility.

Being custom-made CENS digital are extremely comfortable and can be worn for many hours without the need to be removed.

 

The Original Custom Electronic Noise Suppressors

Each pair of CENS digital are custom-made from acrylic, and come in solid red (for the right ear) and blue (for the left ear) colours. They are available with CENS digital 1 and CENS digital 2 circuitry.

Providing unsurpassed protection, while giving the wearer improved perceived sound, CENS digital are the original custom electronic noise suppressors.

CENS digital 2 features two pre-programmed settings. #1 for game, which boosts quieter sounds such as  approaching birds and quarry to clearly audible levels, giving you the edge on the competition. #2 for clay, giving extra suppression, further reducing the additional gun noise happening around you.

Flexible Noise Suppression For Sublime Comfort

Made from flexible, medical-grade silicone material, these new ultra soft noise suppressors are designed to be extremely comfortable over long durations, whilst still providing the excellent suppression you expect from CENS digital.

The standard colours for CENS digital Flex are red & blue. Beige and transparent finishes are also available as an option. Every pair also features a thin anti-bacterial coating on each earmould.

CENS Flex utilises a modular design that features an interchangeable active system and passive plug, making cleaning simple. Every pair of CENS Flex is also coated with an ultra-thin anti-bacterial layer, for improved comfort and hygiene.

With CENS Flex you won’t even notice your wearing an earplug!

CENS Flex 2 also feature two pre-programmed settings for game and clay shooting.

Versatile Wind & Noise Suppression For Rifle Users

CENS Hunter are designed especially with the rifle marksman in mind. The brand new state-of-theart circuitry inside every CENS Hunter is capable of suppressing the louder gunshot noise generated by rifle and large calibre ammunition.

CENS Hunter features two new pre-programmed settings, the second of which provides increased wind noise reduction, without losing the ability to hear sounds such as wing beats and animal cries. Every pair is also supplied with wind shields that fit over the ear, cutting down wind noise even further when using a high chair or when
shooting in severe conditions.

CENS Hunter also feature the same modular design and additional passive insert as the CENS Flex.

Digital Technology

Ultra-miniature digital technology utilises the latest DSP (Digital Signal Processor) amplifiers with efficient class D output stage for better battery management. Algorithms (mathematical instruction sets) control the response of the CENS to provide the natural audible experience

  • CENS digital 1 & CENS digital 1 Flex - A single memory device with a volume control. The volume control has a tactile on/off switch.
  • CENS digital 1 & CENS digital 2 Flex - Similar to CENS digital 1 with the addition of a push button switch that selects the internal memories.

Program 1 for game shooting. This allows the user to better hear the quarry approaching. Program 2 for clay shooting, to provide additional high-level suppression as the guns are fired more frequently.
